On February 26, 2012, Bull City Presbyterian will worship for the first time. As a new worshiping community, Bull City Presbyterian seeks to reflect the diversity of Durham, live in solidarity with vulnerable people, and serve college students and our neighbors.  For the six weeks in January and February, we will preach on the core beliefs of Bull City.

At St. John’s Church we celebrate communion every Sunday because we believe that in the Lord’s Supper faith is deepened. The Supper is a sign of God’s covenant with the church, but it is more than a sign. Because the communion is real, God’s life passes to us and becomes ours.

Ministry Following the leading of the Holy Spirit, St. John’s took part in many ministries of outreach and love to our Durham neighbors. St. John’s also joyfully began embracing brothers and sisters with disabilities as a part of the church’s worshiping...
