Diving into Durham

The community at St. John’s is in the process of merging with Northgate Presbyterian Church in order to be reborn as a new worshiping community.  With the guidance and approval of our governing body (made up of our brothers and sisters in fellow Presbyterian congregations), we will worship as a new congregation, Durham Presbyterian, on February 26, 2012 at 10:30 am for the first time.

The vision of Durham Presbyterian is a church that seeks to reflect the diversity of our city, live in solidarity with vulnerable people, and serve college students and our neighbors.  For six weeks in January and February, we preached on the core beliefs of this new church to develop the heart of the congregation.  You can hear those sermons on our sermons page.
